Gary I. Arishita, MD, is an ASPS Member plastic surgeon who is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery® and trained specifically in plastic surgery. The physicians and staff of PRMA of South Texas are dedicated to providing an environment of compassion, concern and support for each and patient who walks through our door, regardless of social or economic status, and regardless of type of insurance or lack thereof. The focus of the practice is breast reconstruction, primarily with the use of autologous tissue. The physicians of the practice have performed over 2000 DIEP flap reconstructions. We also perform SIEP, TUG, SGAP, and Latissimus flap breast reconstruction procedures.
Your Consultation
Our goal at PRMA of South Texas is to provide our patients with state of the art care in both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. All of the physicians in our group have a special interest and training in microsurgery, which enables us to handle any and all types of reconstructive problems. We also have a significant interest in the latest cosmetic surgery techniques. At least one of the physicians in our practice attends the annual meeting of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. All of our physicians are on the clinical staff at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and thus are exposed to a large range of difficult plastic surgery cases and are also prompted to maintain the highest level of academic qualification.
