Dr. Gary Lawton is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon with a holistic approach to patient care . His surgical practice has always been limited to Cosmetic Surgery of the Breast and Body. After more than two decades concentrating on these areas, Dr. Lawton is truly an expert in his field.

Dr. Lawton began his Cosmetic Surgery practice in San Antonio more than 20 years ago, and has developed a comprehensive system that includes an integrative, complimentary medicine practice, a fully-certified outpatient surgery center, and an aesthetic medicine center like none other. He employs Advanced Surgical Healing Protocols that involve coordination of all of the complex scientific methodologies that Dr. Lawton has brought into his practice from his time in the Wound Healing Research Laboratories at Yale University, one of the most prestigious institutions of higher learning in the United States. The system involves body composition analysis, determination of basal metabolic rate, the development of a homeopathic anti-inflammatory diet, the use of supplements and vitamins, and full medical clearance at his own Integrative Medicine Center.
Surgery is performed in our private outpatient Surgery Center which is certified by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF), the Gold-Standard for the accreditation of outpatient surgical centers. Surgery is performed under General Anesthesia administered by only the best Board-Certified Anesthesiologists. The day after surgery, the patient receives an infusion of antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, vitamins, peptides and mitochondrial stimulants in the Advanced Biological Wound Healing Center. This gives the patient every advantage when it comes to sophisticated surgical healing protocols.
The highly respected and trained team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Surgical Technologists, and Medical Assistants provide continuity, dedication, and a family-style team approach which is an unparalleled, unrivaled way to deliver medical and surgical care. Discreet, personal consultations are always performed by Dr. Lawton himself in a new, elegant, and comfortable office setting. Everyone on the highly experienced, trained and appropriately certified staff is dedicated to the service of our patients. Each consultation involves an exploration of your desires and expectations a thorough evaluation of your anatomy, and an extensive discussion of the surgical options and expected outcomes. A personalized operative plan is then designed to achieve your goals. Facilities
Dr. Lawton's private, personal, Quad-A certified Aesthetic Enhancement Cosmetic Surgery Center is a fully equipped on-site outpatient surgical facility. It is accredited by the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, the Gold-Standard for the certification of Plastic Surgery Centers. The center offers two surgery suites outfitted with the most modern plastic surgical equipment, four recovery room suites, two preoperative suites, and comprehensive support facilities. General anesthesia is provided by highly trained and meticulously selected Board-Certified anesthesiologists. The center is connected to North Central Baptist Hospital for added safety, overnight stays and observation, if necessary.
