Meet Dr. Lisa Jewell
Dr. Lisa L. Jewell is a board-certified female plastic surgeon at South Bay Plastic Surgeons in Torrance, CA. Recognized by Los Angeles Magazine as one of “L.A.’s Best Doctors” every year since 2017, she has trained extensively in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, enabling her to handle both common and complex cases with confidence. Dr. Jewell specializes in breast augmentation, breast augmentation revision, breast lift, breast reduction, and tummy tuck procedures, pairing her refined surgical skills with a patient-centered approach.
A native Californian, Dr. Jewell earned a bachelor’s degree in physiology at the University of California, Davis, before completing her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After a rigorous six-year residency in general, plastic, and reconstructive surgery at the University of Southern California, she continued her affiliations with USC and City of Hope—one of only 53 National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer centers in the country. During this period, she served as a voluntary clinical faculty member at USC and further honed her breast reconstruction and microsurgery expertise as a consulting physician at City of Hope. Dr. Jewell also established private practices in Santa Monica and the South Bay, ultimately choosing in 2009 to focus exclusively on the South Bay, where she lives with her husband and two young sons.
