Dr. Michael K. Seeking additional subspecialty expertise, he completed a breast and cosmetic surgery fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital under the guidance of renowned leaders in the field. I recently got my breast augmentation with Dr. Newman almost 4 months ago. I was very hesitant on going under the knife but I knew I really wanted to get my breast done. I did a lot of research to find a surgeon and Dr. Newman stood out to me. When I first met him during my consultation, him and his staff made me feel very comfortable and welcoming. He was very friendly and understood what results I wanted (natural) and worked with me to find a great size for my body. In addition, he was very informative throughout the process. Overall, he did an amazing job!!! I couldn't be any happier. I strongly recommend him and his staff. The whole experience was great.

I cannot express the gratitude I have for Dr. Newman and the work I had done with him. I was referred by a friend and I also did consultations with a couple other surgeons. At the end of the day I decided to go with Dr. Newman because I was able to see his results first hand. Let me just say it was one of the best decisions I made for myself. He was thoughtful and made alternative suggestions so I could have all the info I needed to make an informed decision on how to move forward. There was no pressure to commit which I greatly appreciated. It took me several months to make my decision and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The results captured in these photos have far exceeded even my highest hopes. Dr. Newman and the talented team at South Bay Plastic Surgeons have made this soon-to-be 60-year-old woman supremely happy. From start to finish, I knew I was in exceptional hands. This was not a decision I made lightly. I have been contemplating this move for some years now as I had lost about 125 pounds since having had gastric bypass surgery nine summers ago. We Cobabes tend to be a jowly lot. Add to that my weight loss and, well...see for yourself! Needless to say, after all that time and thinking, I had a number of questions and concerns, all of which were patiently and thoroughly fielded by Dr. Newman. Even more, he made me feel like a partner in this process--he took my input seriously and I left every appointment more and more confident that, not only was the time right but that my choice of surgeon was ideal. To say I'm stoked about the results would be a gross understatement. I would be remiss not to mention my surgical nurse and videographer extraordinaire, Mimi and the amazing Dr. Kirtika Patel, my anesthesiologist. It was a long, nearly 9-hour procedure, and Dr. Patel called me ON A SUNDAY and spent about 30 MINUTES with me: discussing the process, asking me questions about my health and surgical history, responding to all the questions and concerns I had, and even giving me some post-surgical directions to help me advance my healing process. Needless to say, I have zero regrets. If you're looking for a doctor to meet whatever cosmetic surgery needs you may have: look no further. Dr. Michael Newman will not disappoint.
