Your Consultation
A personal consultation is the first step for every patient considering surgery. During your consultation, the patient can express their desire for certain procedures to address their concerns about their appearance. Dr. Steinmetz will then present options to address these concerns in a friendly environment enabling the patient to ask questions about the procedure and anticipated results. An informed patient creates a happy patient. Dr. Steinmetz is known to have extensive consultations so that all questions can be addressed.
During your consultation, the patient will provide:
·Previous surgical history
Past and present medical conditions
·Medications you are taking, including herbal remedies or nutritional supplements
·The results of any tests you may have had related to desired procedure
·A complete medical history including family medical history
·List allergies if youhave any.
When you enter consultation room:
·You will watch a short film where applicable
·You will receive a consent form to related procedure outlining risks involved
·Photos will be taken
·Dr. Steinmetz will listen to your desires for change
·Dr. Steinmetz will go over verbally all facets of proposed procedure
·Dr. Steinmetz will physically examine you and listen to your questions then give you his thoughts on expected outcome as it is related to procedure and your body.
