Bitzos, MD, is an American Board Certified member from Athens, and among the few of our Certified members who practice outside the United States. He specializes in Aesthetic Surgery of the face and breast and uses techniques designed for aesthetically subtle, natural outcomes. His patients come mainly from Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

This physician completed his full specialist training in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery within ACGME-Accredited training programs in the United States, a prerequisite for Certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). He subsequently completed the ABPS Certification process, which includes written and oral examinations, as well as a comprehensive review by the American Board of his own surgical cases, clinical decision-making, surgical judgment, and patient outcomes. He maintains his Board Certification through the ABPS Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program, which requires ongoing professional development, continuous learning, and periodic assessment of advanced plastic surgery knowledge.
