Bitzos, MD, is an American Board Certified member from Athens, and among the few of our Certified members who practice outside the United States. He specializes in Aesthetic Surgery of the face and breast and uses techniques designed for aesthetically subtle, natural outcomes. His patients come mainly from Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

This physician completed his full specialty training in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery within ACGME-accredited residency programs in the United States, a prerequisite for certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). He subsequently achieved ABPS Board Certification by successfully completing the written and oral examinations, followed by a comprehensive review of his own surgical cases, operative techniques, clinical decision-making, surgical judgment, and patient outcomes. He maintains his certification through the ABPS Continuing Certification Program, which requires ongoing professional development, unrestricted medical licensure, periodic assessment of plastic surgery knowledge and clinical practice, and adherence to the Board's professional standards.
