Your Consultation

Consultations are done directly with Dr. Lichten.  We do not use practice consultants or patient care coordinators to "sell you" on surgery.  You will meet with Dr. Lichten to discuss your issues and goals, along with your other medical history, so we can come up with a plan together.  Dr. Lichten will tell you honestly what to expect from surgery and what can be achieved.  If surgery or a procedure is not the best option for you, we will tell you that as well.

How to find a surgeon for breast augmentation?

Breast Augmentation

Member Response:

Meet with them for a consultation to see if you trust what they are telling you. Make sure you are on the same page when it comes to your goals and review their before and after gallery for patients who look like you. You should always trust your gut and pick the “best surgeon for you”, rather than relying on the internet to tell you who the “best surgeon” is.

Normal?

Tummy Tuck

Member Response:

Tell your surgeon what your concerns are. It can take time for swelling to resolve. If you still have questions, you can seek a second opinion from another board certified plastic surgeon in your area. Feel free to email me at doctor@ohioplastic.com if you need more information about setting up a consultation.

Second deflation replacement

Breast Implant Revision

Member Response:

Jennifer - You should not feel violated as most surgeons do charge for replacement surgery. In fact I do not know anyone who wouldn’t charge a surgeon’s fee for a surgery 7 years later. Perhaps they are talking about getting replacement implants for free as the implants are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty that will cover new implants and sometimes part of the surgery fees. If your surgeon used the same company as the implants that were removed then you sometimes can get money from that company if they do a warranty claim. I hope this helps.

Tummy Tuck

Member Response:

As other surgeons have said, yes you can be a candidate for a tummy tuck after you get medical clearance and if your scars do not prohibit it. The extra 50 lbs you say you have put on must be discussed. Tummy tuck is not a weight loss technique and not a substitute for diet and exercise. While a tummy tuck can improve the appearance of the "mess" of your abdomen, you should know that it would not fix your weight loss issues.
