Lipo makes sking aging go faster

Liposuction

Member Response:

There is NO scientific evidence to support your feelings. I do not know how you came upon this opinion. You should seek face to face consultations with ASPS members that can provide you photographic evidence that your options are not true. Sincerely, Dr. Kulick

Filler before lip lift

Dermal Fillers

Member Response:

Yes you should be able to receive a cheek filler and a neurotoxin before your surgery. To be sure you should ask your surgeon that is performing your surgical lip lift.

Hooded eyelids

Eyelid Surgery

Member Response:

Your are not alone. You can have your procedure. All surgical procedures have risks. By asking question, this is the first step. Having a face-to-face consultation with a board certified ASPS member should be your next step. Hope this helps.

T-Z Plasty

Facelift

Member Response:

I like others am confused with your terminology. A "Z" pasty can be performed as w way to directly reduce neck skin laxity. I suggest you consult with a board certified pasty surgeon to help you with your concerns.

Tummy Tuck

Member Response:

The real key is your health and the examination that occurs at the time of your consultation. Your expectations are also important. That is the value of a consultation with a Board Certified plastic surgeon. You should be guided based on your surgeon's experience. Hope this helps

Ident in my stomach below my belly button

Tummy Tuck

Member Response:

You made the first step by reaching out to ASPS. Your next step is to seek out a face-to-face consultation with a ASPS member in your area. There are many options to chose from based on the evaluation of your actual condition. However, I do not think that you would need a tummy tuck given your age. Lipo under the chin?

Liposuction

Member Response:

This is the beauty of liposuction - it can reduce isolated areas of unwanted fat. As all have mentioned having a face-to-face consultation is your first step. This is a very common concern. Sincerely, Dr. K

Cost

Liposuction

Member Response:

As many above have mentioned, while cost is a factor, it should not be your current focus. A face-to-face consultation with a ASPS member should be your next step. Depending on what areas you want treated, a lot of skin elasticity is reduced by the time one reaches 51 y/o. Having hanging skin may be the outcome if fat is removed. Cost

Arm Lift

Member Response:

The cost varies with the location, how long you procedure would take, the type of anesthesia etc. Thus, the best way for you to find out the cost for you procedure is to contact an ASPS member in your area. Hope this helps.

Scarring

Dermal Fillers

Member Response:

There are may treatment options for scars, including atrophic scars. See the link below for scar treatment options. The problem for providing you sound advice vs. discussing all pathways for treating scars is that I do not know what your scar looks like. Best for you to see a ASPS doctor in your area to actually look at you scars and provide you options based on your clinical exam. That should be your next step. Do tummy tuck scars go away?

Tummy Tuck

Member Response:

Great questions! The most important component is that you do NOT assume that you will have an ugly scar. Scars are permanent but not always ugly. Most scars improve with time. For sure, some patients scars may benefit from a revision. The upside is that you will receive a flatter tummy area and you can wear your two-piece swim suit.

How much pain can you expect after a breast augmentation surgery?

Breast Augmentation

Member Response:

There are two factors that determine one's "pain" after a procedure. One is the actual procedure and most would agree if the implants are put below the muscle vs. on top of the muscle, the former is more painful. How one processes the painful stimuli is another important factor. Some patients have a lower pain threshold. However, your consultation with a Board Certified plastic surgeon will determine the correct implant placement and post operative pain management. Regarding the opioid crisis, this usually is referring to doctors that provide opioids for financial gain vs. following a surgical procedure. If you need to use narcotic, that's the right thing to do. Hope this helps.
