The goal of feminizing genital surgery, sometimes called transfeminine bottom surgery, is to rearrange male genital tissue to construct the appearance of female genitalia.
What words should I know about transfeminine bottom surgery?
Dilation
A process to maintain the opening of the vagina.
General anesthesia
Drugs and/or gases used during an operation to relieve pain and alter consciousness.
Hematoma
Blood pooling beneath the skin.
Labiaplasty
A procedure whereby the scrotal skin is used to create the labia majora.
Orchiectomy
A procedure to remove the testicles.
