What is chest feminization surgery?
The goal of chest feminization surgery, commonly called "top surgery," is to give your chest a more female-looking contour and appearance. Chest feminization surgery is typically performed as a single-stage, outpatient procedure. There are several techniques used to perform chest feminization surgery, and many factors should be taken into consideration when choosing which technique is best:
- Desired amount of breast enlargement
- Placement of the incisions
- Size, shape and type of implant used (e.g., silicone vs saline)
