Registration is now open for the NYRSPS Fall Meeting: #TrendingTopics in Plastic Surgery. This year's meeting will be a one-day event centered around some of the hottest issues currently facing our field. New this year, the meeting will feature a debate-style panel entitled Dueling Perspectives in which leading experts will present opposing arguments on several controversial subjects. Debate topics include whether bans on textured implants and gluteal fat grafting are warranted as well as whether there is validity to the claims of the existence of Breast Implant Illness. Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe and implement new modalities and best practices in pain management
  • Incorporate into practice the latest scientific advances impacting plastic surgery for the improvement of patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Demonstrate understanding of and evaluate the arguments in debates surrounding hot topics in patient surgery and patient safety


This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons (NYRSPS). The ASPS is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.


The ASPS designates this live activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
