The American Society of Plastic Surgeons invites you to apply to participate in the 2023 Essentials of Leadership program!

The Essentials of Leadership program will give you the knowledge and skills to be an effective leader by covering topics like Crucial Conversations & Giving Feedback, Coaching & Counseling Skills for Leaders, Situational Leadership and Holding Strategic Meetings. The program will be a mix of in-person and virtual sessions featuring inspiring talks from leaders in various fields, group collaboration and social activities to provide an unforgettable educational and networking experience.

We ask all applicants to COMMIT to three virtual and two in-person meetings. The virtual meetings will take place over Zoom on January 7, 2023, May 6, 2023, and September 9, 2023, lasting no longer than three hours. In-person meetings will be held on March 10-12, 2023, at the ASPS office in Arlington Heights, IL, and July 14-16, 2023, at Stanford University.

All members serving on ASPS or PSF committees are eligible and encouraged to apply to participate in the EOL program. Residents may apply as long as they submit a letter of recommendation from their Training Program Directors supporting their participation in the program.
