Essentials of Leadership In-Person and Virtual Sessions Throughout 2027

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons invites you to apply for the 2027 Essentials of Leadership program!

Program Overview

The Essentials of Leadership program is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to become effective leaders. The program combines virtual and in-person sessions featuring inspiring presentations from leaders in various fields, collaborative learning, group activities and meaningful networking opportunities.

Applicants must be able to commit to participating in the full 2027 program, including all virtual and in-person sessions.

Eligibility

Program participation is open to Active Members and domestic Candidate Members currently serving on ASPS or PSF committees. Five spaces will be reserved for members of the Young Plastic Surgeons (YPS) Forum.

Application Timeline

Applications open Monday, August 17, 2026, and close Monday, October 19, 2026. Applicants will be notified of their selection in early November 2026.
