Plastic Surgery Boot Camp Summer 2025

In 2025, the Plastic Surgery Boot Camp returns with an exciting regional format, offering plastic surgery interns an opportunity to attend an in-person, hands-on training experience across the country.

Developed with the support of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Council of Educators in Plastic Surgery (ACEPS), Boot Camp is designed to facilitate the transition of residents into plastic surgery training, providing standardized, high-yield exposure to core clinical concepts in a positive, collegial environment.

Through partnerships with regional societies and institutions, Boot Camps will be hosted at multiple locations, with each program offering a blend of didactic lectures, hands-on practicums and interactive learning opportunities.

Program Highlights

• Focus on foundational surgical topics essential for early training
• Hands-on practice with operative techniques, clinical scenarios and simulation models
• Topics may include wound healing, perioperative management, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, breast surgery and more
• Foster a collaborative learning environment to build confidence, skills and professional connections
