ICD-10-CM Coding Resources
THINGS HAVE CHANGED. It's never been more important to code correctly.

In the United States, we’ve been using the ICD-9-CM code set since the late 1970s. We transitioned to the new system, ICD-10-CM on October 15, 2015.

The ICD-10-CM diagnosis classification system was developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for use in all U.S. health care treatment settings. Diagnosis coding under this system uses an alpha-numeric numbering system to report a condition and vastly expands the number of diagnosis codes that may be reported.
