5th Annual Plastic Surgery Boot Camp The Front Line of Plastic Surgery Education

The Plastic Surgery Boot Camp has been expanded to five regional centers across the U.S. for 2019, to encompass all plastic surgery interns, minimizing the cost of travel and time commitment to Boot Camp participants. Plastic surgery education and innovation are in the making, and it is exciting to see how the Plastic Surgery Boot Camp can provide standardized and timely exposure to critical clinical content in plastic surgery; helping to keep plastic surgery both accountable for the global education of its trainees and on the forefront of adult surgical education. The three-day weekend course offers a "hands-on", practicum-based, curriculum focusing on high-yield topics in a "low/no risks" educational environment.

Integrated and/or Independent R1 residents will have the opportunity to attend this year's Boot Camp in one of five different locations to best facilitate regional participation:

    • July 12-14: University of South Florida, Tampa, FL
    • July 19-21: New York University, New York, NY
    • July 26-28: University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA
    • August 9-11: University of Kansas, Kansas City, KS
    • August 16-18: University of California, San Diego, CA

Registrations must be submitted by the Training Program Director or Training Program Coordinator.
