Sientra announces Tiger Aesthetics Medical, LLC as the successful bidder for its breast implant business in Chapter 11 bankruptcy
Breast implant manufacturer Sientra announced on Feb. 13 that it would pursue the sale of the company after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. On April 2, Sientra announced that Tiger Aesthetics Medical, LLC was the successful bidder for its breast implant business.
All warranties and customer contracts are being assumed by Tiger Aesthetics Medical, and breast implant warranties under Sientra's current warranty programs will be honored through closing. Sientra's Biocorneum scar treatment business has been purchased by Nuance Intermediary, LLC.
