YPS Steering Committee
Duties
The YPS Steering Committee works proactively to convey information about ASPS/PSF to residents and young plastic surgeons and encourage their professional development through membership in ASPS. Participation on this subcommittee is an opportunity for young members to become actively involved in ASPS and The PSF.
The YPS Steering Committee oversees the Residents Bowl, PSTM Resident Travel Scholarships and PROPEL. Members of YPS also assist the Residents Council with the popular Medical Students Day during Plastic Surgery The Meeting, contribute to the quarterly YPS Perspective supplement of Plastic Surgery News and encourage participation in advocacy efforts spearheaded by ASPS.
