Plastic Surgery The Meeting (PSTM) provides a dynamic platform for engagement through the Young Plastic Surgeons (YPS) Committee. The YPS Committee is dedicated to empowering the next generation of plastic surgeons through initiatives that elevate young surgeons to the podium and celebrate residents as they continue on their path toward becoming plastic surgeons. YPS Lounge
The YPS Lounge is a place where young plastic surgeons attending the annual meeting can relax and connect with colleagues. Visit the lounge during program breaks to connect with colleagues while engaging in YPS-sponsored activities.
YPS Luncheon
The YPS Luncheon offers an opportunity to hear from leaders in the field and gain valuable insight on key topics for young plastic surgeons while building meaningful connections with colleagues.
YPS Reception
After a full day of programming, join fellow young plastic surgeons to reconnect with colleagues, engage with peers and expand your professional network. Enjoy some refreshments while we recognize the recipients of both the Emerging Leaders Award and the Rising Star Award.
Residents Bowl
For more than 15 years, plastic surgery residency programs from across the country have put their knowledge to the test for the chance to claim the coveted Residents Bowl title. The YPS Steering Committee takes great pride in organizing this longstanding competition and works each year to enhance the experience by introducing new and engaging features, such as the hands-on skills challenge.
ASPS/PSF Resident Travel Scholarship
Each year, YPS invites training program directors from around the world to nominate a resident who has demonstrated strong potential to become a future leader within ASPS/PSF. Selecting and recognizing this outstanding group of residents at PSTM is a meaningful initiative for the YPS Steering Committee. We are proud to celebrate individuals who represent the future of both the Society and the specialty.
